These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zuri Cleaning Services (“Zuri”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), whether you’re a residential or commercial client. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About Zuri Cleaning Services
Zuri Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning solutions to both residential and commercial clients in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. Our services are delivered through a vetted network of independent self-employed cleaners.
Service Scope
We offer, but are not limited to:
Domestic home cleaning
End-of-tenancy and deep cleans
Office and commercial cleaning
Salon, dental, warehouse, and industrial site cleaning
One-off and ongoing cleaning contracts
A detailed scope of work will be agreed upon before service commencement.
Subcontracted Work
Zuri operates using self-employed subcontractors. These individuals are not employees of Zuri but are vetted to meet quality and legal standards. While Zuri coordinates and manages bookings, cleaners work under their own liability and independence.
Bookings and Confirmations
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email, WhatsApp, or booking form). A service is only confirmed when you receive written acknowledgment from Zuri.
Pricing and Payments
Prices are quoted prior to service based on the property, frequency, and tasks
All prices are in GBP and may include VAT where applicable
Payment is due in advance for one-off jobs, or within 7 days of invoice for ongoing contracts
We reserve the right to suspend service for non-payment
Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, card (if offered), or other agreed channels
Cancellations and No-Show Policy
Domestic Clients:
Cancel or reschedule with 24 hours’ notice to avoid a charge
Less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% fee
Missed appointments with no access may be charged full fee
Commercial Clients:
Cancel or reschedule with 48 hours’ notice
Contracts may have specific terms outlined in a signed agreement
Access to Property
You agree to provide safe and legal access to the premises at the agreed time. If access is not available or unsafe, the service will be cancelled and may be charged.
Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate information about the premises and requirements
Notify us of any risks (pets, alarms, fragile items, hazardous materials)
Ensure a safe environment for cleaners
Report any dissatisfaction or issues within 24 hours of the visit
Zuri's Responsibilities
Assign a suitable cleaner based on your needs
Ensure the subcontractor is vetted and qualified
Respond to feedback and service issues promptly
Coordinate replacement cleaners if the assigned cleaner is unavailable
Damage and Liability
Cleaners carry their own public liability insurance. Zuri is not responsible for damage or loss unless caused by direct negligence on our part. Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of the incident.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are unhappy with a service, contact us within 24 hours. Depending on the situation, we may offer a partial refund, free re-clean, or credit toward future services.
Termination of Service
Zuri may terminate service at any time due to:
Repeated cancellations or non-payment
Unsafe working conditions
Abusive or inappropriate behavior
Breach of these Terms
Clients may also terminate ongoing services with 7 days’ notice, unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.
Data & Privacy
Your data will be stored and handled in accordance with GDPR. We do not sell or share your data. For full details, refer to our [Privacy Policy].
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
